Format: 8 aside, 16 overs pairs cricket, played with soft ball (yellow Kiwi cricket ball), 10m pitch length

Format: Softa ball, 8 aside, 16 overs, 14m pitch length

NORTH BASH PRIMARY: Years 3 – 6
Games: Played on Saturdays at 9am
Venue: Various grounds in North Taranaki
Format: Hardball, 8 aside, 20 overs, 16m pitch length
Season: Saturday 17 February – Saturday 23 March 2024
NORTH BASH INTERMEDIATE: Years 7 – 8
Games: Played on Saturdays at 9am
Venue: Various grounds in North Taranaki
Format: Hardball, 9 aside, 25 overs, 18m pitch length

Fees include affiliation to Taranaki Cricket.
Fees are due to school by Wednesday 14 February at 3.00pm. Online payment is preferred. Late payments will not be accepted and your child will miss out on team selection.
Once registered to play the fees will be non-refundable.

UNIFORM:
A blue school sports shirt will be provided before the first game. Players should wear as much white cricket clothing as they have. If none, black or blue shorts are acceptable. Closed in shoes are required. Please wear a hat.

PLAYHQ:
It is a requirement for all school cricket players to be registered on the NZ Cricket digital hub, PlayHQ.
The registration must be completed for each separate term of cricket and must be completed before the first game.

CANCELLATIONS:
Any cancellations will be advised on the homepage of the Taranaki Cricket website www.taranakicricket.co.nz by Saturday 7:30am for Saturday games and Friday 2pm for Friday games. They will also be on the Taranaki Cricket Facebook page – please ‘like’ the Facebook page www.facebook.com/taranakicricket.
Please note that in Junior Cricket if a game is rained off and the game cannot be completed it is considered abandoned and an abandoned result is to be entered into PlayHQ. No duckworth lewis applies. The home team is to put in the Abandoned result in PlayHQ.
