What is the P.T.A?  
- COMING EVENTS -

We are a group of parents/caregivers of the school, who meet once a term for meetings.  We also have some social gatherings, which are a great way to meet others involved in the school.  Some activities we have enjoyed are:  ten-pin bowling, pizza night, drinks and meals out,  family Xmas picnic and swimming, golf tournament, quiz night, coffee mornings.

Next PTA Meeting:
Thursday, 9th September- 7.30 pm in the school staffroom

We welcome new members to our committee. It really is a great way to get to know other parents and enjoy social occasions, as well as having the opportunity to give feedback and ideas to events happening at our school. Come along and see what it's all about, and enjoy a chat with some other parents over a cuppa.

BIKE RAFFLE: We are currently selling tickets for a 24" bike. Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. They can be bought from the school office.

Fun Run - In October, we are holding a Family Fun Run/Walk to celebrate the extension of the walkway to Bell Block. This is our main fundraiser for the year. Planning for this event is now underway. Watch this space for more details!

How do you join the PTA?  

New members are most welcome.  You can come along to a meeting which is advertised on the school newsletter, contact a member, or inquire at the school office.

  
   
What else does the PTA do?  

We also fundraise throughout the year, to help the school purchase ‘extras’ for our children.  In the past year, we have provided and/or been involved in:  IT equipment, sporting/cultural uniforms, sunscreen, tissues, literacy resources, fridge magnets.
